Farmers Market hits season peak without tomatoes

   The Farmers Market is hitting its season peak with more farmer-vendors and larger crowds of shoppers than ever before, according to market coordinator Monica Turner.

   The vegetable and fruit offering this past week included sweet corn, cucumbers, cabbages, cantaloupe, squash, snap beans, peas, new potatoes, and several booths were offering fresh blueberries.
